Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie has tendered a public and heartfelt apology to his first wife, May Edochie.
He stated that he did not bargain for polygamy and acknowledged that she did not bargain for it too.
Admitting to his fault, he professed his love for her and mentioned that his act was never to disrespect or displease her.

He went on to state that he did not deserve to be hated for not getting one thing right out of a hundred things.
In his words:
Out of 100 I have done 99 things right, hating me because of one thing isn’t the best. Nobody is perfect. I’m not. You’re not. Nobody is, except God.
Though the actor disabled comments on the post, a lot of celebrities liked the post.

Meanwhile, Yul Edochie has earlier stated that God directed him to be a polygamist, and it was to give his son a suitable identity.
He stated that he was a polygamist with his full chest and backed it up with a Bible verse, Exodus 21: 10 “If he marries another woman, he must not deprive the first one of her food, clothing, and marital rights.”
Yul acknowledged that his behaviour had upset his first wife, May Edochie, but he also insisted that it had been for her benefit.
