Nollywood actress Iniobong Edo has revealed that she regrets her decision to get married. Ini Edo tied the knot with American businessman Philip Ehiagwina on November 29, 2008.
During a recent interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, Ini Edo disclosed that she initially got married due to family pressure, and it turned out to be a decision she regrets.
She acknowledged that marrying at that time was not the right choice for her.

However, the actress mentioned that she would consider getting married again if the right person comes into her life.
She expressed an openness to the possibility of marriage but emphasized the importance of making the right decision this time.
Regarding the choice to have her baby via surrogacy, Ini Edo explained that she opted for surrogacy after experiencing multiple miscarriages.
Wanting a child of her own, she decided to pursue surrogacy even without a husband.

She chose to use her own eggs for the process, and in 2021, she joyfully announced the arrival of her first child, a daughter, through surrogacy.
