Nollywood veteran actress Margaret Bandele Olayinka, popularly known as Iya Gbonkan, has reached out to her fans for assistance.
Expressing her plight, she highlighted her decades-long acting career, which has not yielded the acquisition of a personal vehicle.
She shared her daily reality of relying on buses for transportation to her destinations.

Iya Gbonkan called upon her fans to show their appreciation while she is still alive, rather than waiting to express their support through extravagant gestures after her passing.
Expressing her desire for a change in her circumstances, she appealed to her fans for a car.

“I have dedicated decades to acting, yet I find myself without a car. Every day, I rely on buses for transportation. If I were to pass away now, you would slaughter a cow. I implore you to celebrate me while I am alive. I am in need of a car from my beloved fans,” she shared.
The veteran actress’ plea sheds light on the challenges she faces despite her long and successful career.
