Morayo Afolabi Brown, a journalist and the host of TVC Your View, uploaded a video of the money her children saved in a piggybank for almost ten years.
On January 23, the mother claimed that she had destroyed all of their piggybank in an Instagram post.
There were numerous creased N500 and N1000 bills on the ground.

Due to the new notes, the Central Bank of Nigeria will gradually phase out some outdated notes.
Morayo said she would be putting the money in the bank to make sure that the children still had their money.
Many viewers were in awe at the kids’ ability to forego their own desires and save for such a long period of time in the piggybank.

Meanwhile, a Nigerian man has melted hearts on social media after a video of the Christmas gift he bought for his girlfriend surfaced.
In a lovely TikTok video posted with his handle @anieprobeauty, the romantic man chronicled how he broke his piggybank and brought out all the money he had saved.
With the proceeds of his savings, he bought his lovely girlfriend a beautiful bone-straight wig, chocolates, and a box of jewellery.
