Lady Jumps Into Lagos Lagoon Two Weeks After Marriage Proposal

On Thursday, November 10, a beautiful Nigerian lady named Adetutu Adedokun jumped off the Third Mainland Bridge into the Lagos lagoon.

Adetutu, a Department of State Services (DSS) operative in her thirties, was said to have alighted from a cab, walked to the bridge’s railing, and jumped into the water.

According to the cab driver, the lady had a heated argument with her fiancée before exiting his vehicle and jumping into the lagoon.

Gbenga Omotosho, the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, stated:

“The rescue teams called off their search by 7pm because it was already dark. They will continue the search tomorrow (Friday); you know it is water, the wave would have taken the body somewhere else. But we will search everywhere.”

The lady has reportedly engaged to her fiancé a few weeks ago, and a video of the proposal was shared online.
