Japa life tough oh: UK-based Nigerian lady laments after buying pepper for ₦3,000

A Nigerian lady in the UK who went food shopping was shocked at how much she spent for a small size of pepper.

The lady, who might have been a new immigrant in the UK, lamented the expensive pricing of foodstuff in the area.

In the video posted by the lady identified as @her_excellency88, it showed the lady holding a small-sized pepper as she laments over the price. She spent £3.39 for the pepper, equivalent to 3,000 Naira.

For many Nigerians, this was a shock. Especially in this part of the world, where pepper sometimes serves as extra foodstuff.

Well, for many Nigerians, the complaint seems to have triggered them as they see no point in it. They supposed the lady in the video already understood how things work. Many blamed her for overreacting, especially since she might even be earning in euros.

Nurse laments unbearable life after relocating to UK

Meanwhile, a Nigerian nurse who relocated to the United Kingdom for work has expressed the frustration and pain that comes with it.

In a post shared by one Philips Odin on his Twitter page, the lady lamented about the food and the lifestyle in the country.

According to her, once she makes over N20 million, she will leave London for Nigeria.
