Nigerian dancer, Idowu Smart Emmanuel, popularly known as Lil Smart has opened up on why he left Naira Marley and Marlian records.
The Tesumole dance creator shared the video on social media. Expressed bitterness and disappointment in how Naira Marley treated him. He went as far as sharing about their humble beginnings.
He expected more from someone he saw as ‘blood’. But sadly, his expectations were cut short.

I wasn’t appreciated
In his own words: “I was with Marlian Music, they weren’t appreciating me, they weren’t doing anything… I wasn’t appreciated and if it continued that way, they were going to keep downgrading me.”
Despite what he felt, he still professed his love for Naira Marley. However, leaving Marlian Records was a necessity for him.
