His bosses gave him a tiny pack as a thank-you gift because he worked for 27 years without missing a day, according to Business Insider.

Ford gained popularity when he displayed the meager present his bosses gave him in recognition of his efforts. He first gained N126 million after becoming viral.
He received a movie ticket, a Starbucks cup, a bag of Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, two packs of Life Savers, two pens, two keychains, and some chocolate cake as part of the gift.

His daughter created a GoFundMe account for him after seeing him in a video displaying the gifts, which caused him to go viral.
The GoFundMe page has now received contributions totaling $400,000, or about N308 million.
Ford was finally able to see his grandchildren after several years thanks to the popularity of his story.
Ford said: “Like most big corporations, they’ve kind of lost touch with their workers. I feel like the whole world lifted me up. It’s still like a dream every day that I hope I never wake up from.”
Ford received more than 13,500 donations, which have since completely altered his life. He met them again in a video by Today that was uploaded to YouTube.
