A mother, Tusaiweyana took to poured out her feelings about her son Jay’s tough situation in a touching Instagram clip.
She explained that Jay had a special condition since birth that made it hard for him to shut his mouth properly. This caused him problems with eating, drinking, and showing facial expressions every single day.
Even after many years of looking for help in Malawi, Tusaiweyana couldn’t find the right assistance for her son.

Mother desperate for help as son stays still for 7 Years without blinking, smiling, or closing his mouth
With unwavering determination, she shared her exciting news of heading to South Africa next month, in search of answers and possible treatments for Jay.
In her words:
“It is so sad to look for help for your child and never find it. To look for answers and never find it. I’ve been looking for answers for almost close to 7years now for my son.
“This is my biological son that I gave birth to when I was 16-17 years old and he was born with a condition that affects him from closing his mouth, it also use to affect so many things at times but I decided to love him, appreciate him and see him as a different child, as a unique child and appreciate him the way he is.
“But now I’m getting close for more answers from other countries. So we are traveling next month to South Africa and I don’t know.”
With the amazing support of the online community, Tusaiweyana finalized all the plans for Jay’s upcoming trip to South Africa.
In the upcoming month of October, they had a crucial appointment with specialized doctors who could unravel the mystery of Jay’s rare condition through various tests and perhaps even provide a diagnosis.
Realizing the financial challenges ahead, Tusaiweyana humbly reached out to her dedicated followers, seeking their assistance in raising funds for this important journey.
The beautiful display of compassion and unity among everyone involved in Jay’s medical journey showcased the incredible power of people coming together during challenging times.
She wrote;
“This year I have been so busy with making sure the other kids have a proper place to stay that’s why I was silent about posting Jay or looking for more help for him but I have dedicated next month October to look for sore answers for him’.
“So we will go to SA to meet doctors who can run some tests and give us a diagnosis. I will need your help guys but for now, let me finalize the school and clinic. Thank you and I will need your help to raise funds for his trip to SA. We will have answers if it is Moebius syndrome or not.”
