My friends laughed at me because he didn’t have a job — Nigerian woman who stuck with her jobless lover shares how it has paid off

A Nigerian woman who identifies as Dorothy Tamuno has on Twitter shared how she stayed with her husband during the times he had nothing.

The lady, whose story has now gone viral, revealed that even though her friends mocked her, she still stayed with her husband.

In her tweet, she narrated how she started dating her husband and how he didn’t have a job at that time.

Things changed for the better

Years after being together and going through tough times together, the Nigerian lady shared how things changed.

In her story, everything got better after they got married. Her once jobless boyfriend, now her husband, gave her a Rolex watch on Valentine’s Day.

The lady narrated how she met her husband thus:

“We met at a wedding, I slid in his dm’s, gave him my number, started dating, but he didn?t have a job, so our dates consisted of Mcdonalds savers menu and long walks. My friends laughed at me. My now husband just gifted me a Rolex for valentines day.”

Following her tweet, she posted a beautiful photo of herself and her husband.

Nigerian woman advises wives to stay with cheating husbands

Meanwhile, a Nigerian woman chastised married women who file for divorce because their husbands cheated on them.

In a viral video online, the woman advised women to be more forgiving towards their husbands when they apologize for cheating on them.

She spoke in the indigenous language, Yoruba, and emphasized that cheating is not enough to end a marriage.
