Nigerians jubilate as Labour Party wins first National Assembly seat

Joy flooded the hearts of many Nigerians as they celebrate Labour Party’s first win in the National Assembly seat.

The Labour Party’s Honourable Ginger Onwusibe has been named as the representative-elect for the Isialangwa North and South Federal.

The announcement was made by the Independent Electoral Commission, as Ginger defeated the opposing PDP candidate.

Ginger defeated his PDP opponent, Professor Anthony Agbazuere, who received a total of 13,508, by garnering 20,411 valid votes.

Professor Anthony Agbazuere was the preferred candidate of Governor Okezie Ikpeazu. Ginger, who was a former council chairman won him over a large gap.

Ginger defeated Anthony even in his Isialangwa South L.G.A.

Actor Okon Lagos warns against rigging of this election

In other news, Popular Nollywood actor and comic star, Ime Bishop (aka Okon Lagos), warned politicians not to rig the ongoing 2023 elections. According to him, frustrated Nigerians will not take it lightly.

In his ‘1 kobo’ piece of advice, he emphasized that if the results are tweaked to oppose the people’s will, the country will experience something worse than End SARS.

In his caption on the Instagram post he said, “In this destiny-defining moment in our lives, there is a very thin line between sanity and insanity.
