Nigerians have taken to the polls to decide the next set of leaders at the 2023 elections. Early results have shown that Labour party candidate, Peter Obi has defeated Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar of the APC and PDP at Aso Rock polling unit.
However, many Nigerians have complained about the late arrival of Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) at the polling units in some states in the Eastern part of Nigeria. There were also widespread cases of violence marring elections in some parts of Lagos.
In spite of all these challenges, INEC chairman, Mahooud Yakubu has assured that no Nigerian would be disenfranchised in the ongoing presidential and national assembly elections.
