Famous Nollywood actress, Chacha Eke Faani has admitted that she once wished her mother had never existed after hearing “men of God” accuse her mother of plotting her death.
On Wednesday, Chacha revealed this information in a post on her Instagram account.
She reminisced how as a little girl, she had a close relationship with her mother and thought of her as her best friend. However, as she aged, her feelings darkened and she developed a strong enmity towards her mother.

She also claimed to have had nightmares and hallucinations that seemed to confirm her flawed assumptions.
Unfortunately, she ran into some men of God’ during periods of mental instability who confirmed her erroneous view of her mother.
They made her believe that her mother was a threat to her safety, and as a result, she began to harbor animosity towards her.
I found myself wishing for her death
In her own words:
“I loved her intensely when I was younger. She was, and still is, my best friend. However, as I got older, I began to dislike her and developed a deep hatred for her. I experienced nightmares and hallucinations that supported my misguided euphoria.
“Unfortunately, many ‘men of God’ told me during several manic episodes that she was plotting against my life. Consequently, I found myself wishing for her death and saying despicable things about her.
“Looking back now at my mental health challenges and journey, it’s laughable to realize that those dysfunctional thought patterns and beliefs were a disorder; a chemical reaction in the brain waves that switches your ‘most favorite’ to ‘your least favorite’.
“Dear reader, many people have been emotionally torn apart from their loved ones due to underlying mental conditions. They create all sorts of negative stories to justify their deluded claims. Fortunately, there are pills for those strange, inexplicable feelings. Did you know?
“Today is my mother’s birthday, and I’m grateful to have realized that it was all a sickness in my head while she is still alive. I love you deeply, Mommy. You are a blessed woman with nine grandchildren and still counting. 😍”

Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Kiitan Bukola has shared her sad experience from her previous relationship and the reason for her breakup with her fiancée.
The thespian had previously announced plans to tie the knot with her fiancée, Kingsley.
But, the duo sparked breakup rumors after unfollowing each other on Instagram.
It was reportedly alleged that the reason for the breakup was that Kiitan called her mother-in-law to be a witch amongst all other differences.
