Victor Osimhen scored two goals to help Napoli beat Torino 4-0 in a Serie A encounter on Sunday afternoon.
The win means Napoli temporarily go 21 points clear of second-placed Inter Milan, who lost to Juventus on Sunday.
Osimhen opened the scoring as early as the ninth minute after powering in a header following a corner-kick from Zielinski.

Khvicha Kvaratskhelia converted a penalty to put Napoli 2-0 ahead in the 35th minute. Osimhen got the Partenopei’s third and his second of the game on 51 minutes.
His goal which is also his 21st Serie A strike of the 2022/23 campaign after 23 matches came from yet another header after being set up by a cross from Mathias Olivera.
Osimhen had more scoring opportunities to have struck a hat-trick but could not add to his brace before coming off.
He was replaced by Giovanni Simeone in the 72nd minute.
The 24-year-old has become a symbol of the Partenopei’s Scudetto charge during the 2022/23 season.
He has scored 21 goals while he has netted 25 times in 29 appearances across all competitions.
Since joining Napoli in the summer transfer window of 2020 for a fee of €70m, he has scored a hugely impressive 53 goals and made 14 assists in only 91 appearances in all competitions.

Meanwhile, in attack, Osimhen (25) and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia (22) are the only two Serie A players to have been involved in at least 20 goals this season.
Osimhen reacts to Super Eagles call up
The 24-year-old made a social media statement regarding his attendance before the match following the Parthenopeans’ match against Torino.
Osimhen took to social media to share his happiness and declare a new ‘focus’ for himself.
“Another win, another brace. Focus now on the game against Guinea-Bissau. God is the greatest ” he wrote.
As the AFCON doubleheader matches with Guinea-Bissau approach, the Napoli forward is expected to increase his goal total with the Nigerian men’s senior team when he makes his first appearance for the Super Eagles since June.
