Pastor Seraki Kemmonye’s recent claims on polygamy and childbearing sparks controversy among netizens

Popular Botswana pastor, Seraki Kemmonye Seraki, took to social media to state his views on marriage and family dynamics.

In a Facebook post he shared on Saturday, July 1, 2023, the Botswana pastor pointed out the decision making power of women to choose when they want to conceive and the number of children they can comfortably bear for their spouse.

Recall that recently, he took to social media to pray for hardworking men to receive the reward of another wife.

According to him, it is men who are empowered to make the decision about when to enter into marriage and how many wives they will want to marry.

Inspite of this, he said women still had the decision to make in childbearing.

Therefore, he urged men to uphold and support women’s choices in regards to pregnancy and childbirth. They should however, not fail to encourage their spouses to respect their decisions with regards to the number of wives they choose to marry.

In his words:

“Gentlemen, remember. It’s women who decides when to fall pregnant and how many kids she can carry, stop violating women! Women, remember. It’s men who decides when to get married and how many wives he wants, stop violating men.”

Big boys rain money on their pastor in Church

Meanwhile, a video capturing a group of ‘big boys’ showering their pastor with cash in a church became viral on the internet, leading to various responses from viewers.

In the footage, the men can be seen spraying bundles of Nigerian naira notes on the clergyman, who appears delighted to receive the money while standing at the pulpit.

The amount of money being thrown was substantial, prompting the pastor to seek assistance from two ushers to collect it and place it into offering bags.
