Photo of a prescription for medicine written by a Doctor becomes a Twitter trend

  • A doctor’s brief note went viral and received a lot of humorous Twitter responses.
  • Some claim that because the handwriting is difficult to read and not legible, doctors are taught how to write in that manner in school.
  • However, some individuals who identify themselves as medical experts have made an effort to decipher the meaning and assert that it is a prescription for medicines.

A medical professional published a brief letter that quickly went viral and received a lot of humorous Twitter responses.

People are still trying to figure out what the handwritten note means after @_theladymo uploaded a picture of it on Twitter.

The note seems to be written in medical jargon and is obviously meaningless to the average person.

Some individuals claim that because the handwriting is so unreadable and difficult to decipher by anyone other than a doctor, that is how doctors are taught to write.

However, some people who claim to be knowledgeable in medicine have attempted to interpret the meaning and claim that it is a prescription for medication.

Various people interpret the remark differently under the photo’s comment box, but they are all writing the names of medicines they claim are written there.

Social Media Reaction:

@docjaph said: Lol, we don’t do this intentionally. Most times, it’s the pressure of work. The desire to attend to all patients in record time. If doctors who work in especially public hospitals take all their time to write or do other things, some patients might not even see doctors that day.”

@Ekene_Od said: “I remember one time like that at one health outreach, this doctor legit denied his handwriting because he couldn’t see what he wrote when I took it back.”

@Emmanuel_Attat commented: “This is part of the final lectures they teach all medical students in universities. Bad writing for prescription.”

@ikejembachuks: “Which one be 3 zenith with revival. Docs always writing to confuse person”

@Starr_gael:

Rx Glucophage 750mg
Rx Cataflam bd
Rx 1 Capsule Blue 10mg
5x Indigestion vibe.”
