Seun Kuti, a popular afrobeat Nigerian singer has taken to the social space to share his experience in jail.
Battabox reported that the songwriter was ordered by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba days after he assaulted a police officer.
However, he regained his freedom when a magistrate court in Yaba granted him bail after he provided two sureties who own landed properties in Lagos State.

Taking to his official Instagram page, Seun Kuti finally spoke about his experience in police custody.
According to the songwriter, he was made to sit down on the hard cold floor with other prisoners.
He however countered that despite what he went through in jail, he would still have chosen it to sitting in the midst of politicians in the ‘devil house’.
“Dem put me for hard cold floor, in the midst of prisoners still better than sitting in the devils house with politician,” he said.

Meanwhile, Seun Kuti arrives at CID headquarters in handcuffs, sparking a shocking turn of events in his case.
He had been involved in an alleged assault on a police officer and was taken into custody following the arrest warrant issued by the Inspector General of Police, Usman Alkali Baba.
Eyewitnesses captured the dramatic scene as the singer, accompanied by his legal team, was escorted by law enforcement personnel into the CID premises.
