Musical duo of Paul and Peter Okoye popularly known as P-Square, claims that their separation cleared the path for Afrobeats Stars like Wizkid and Davido.
In a recent episode of The 77 Podcast, the brothers debunked the idea that Afrobeats only gained global recognition after their separation, asserting that they had already dominated the African music scene for over a decade before their brief intermission in 2016.

Paul confidently stated that if they had not separated, other artists would not have had the opportunity to shine.
“If we were there together in the music industry, those people there would have never seen the light,” he said. The brothers had a successful career as P-Square for nearly 14 years, producing numerous hit songs and winning multiple awards.
