Feeling upset by her decision, the stepfather declared that he would no longer contribute financially to the wedding. He mentioned that he had previously bought her a vehicle and that she had recently obtained her college diploma.

The stepfather was embarrassed by his stepdaughter’s wish to honor her biological father, especially since he is known for making unfulfilled promises. He expressed his disappointment, stating that since she didn’t feel honored to have him walk her down the aisle, he saw no need to assist with the wedding preparations.
Adding to the situation, the stepfather mentioned that the 20 individuals he wanted to invite to the wedding did not receive any invitations, further exacerbating the issue.
