A Nigerian student has shared his happiness after bagging a first-class degree from the University of Hertfordshire in the United Kingdom.
Ibukun Mofesola, who shared the post on Twitter on December 9, revealed that he had previously graduated with a third-class degree from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, in 2012.

However, ten years later, he now holds a first-class degree from a foreign university. While he studied Electronics and Electrical Engineering at OAU, he was a student of Computer Science at the University of Hertfordshire.
Both degrees are BSc. This has led many to speculate on what changed in his academic career.
“Yesterday, 10 years after finishing with a third-class from OAU, I graduated from @UniofHerts with a first class in Computer Science,” Ibukun wrote while sharing the story. “What did they say about what God cannot do again?”
When people asked for the full story of what transpired at OAU that led to a 3rd class, the former student said: “I’d have loved to tag OAU too so they can say their own congratulations. Not sure if they’re on Twitter, but if you know their handle, help me tag them. Pastor said this year, my enemies must congratulate me.”
