A Nigerian lady advised couples to lead private lives stating that you should take your love story off Twitter.
She added that online, their relationship was prone to judgement by people who likely knew nothing about their lives.
She cited that a marriage could be analysed in such a petty manner and cause real damage to the couple.

She wrote: “As much as possible, take your love story away from this space. Don’t allow STRANGERS over analyze and psycho analyze you. We the panel of judges (me inclusive), will always see where you got it wrong. If they can say a marriage will fail from analyzing the pose of the man in a pre wedding picture, then expect more. We are all smart online.”
Keep your love story off Twitter
Netizens agreed to what she said that if you wanted your relationship to thrive, you should take your love story off Twitter.
@kaogupaul: “The problem is that most post too much whilst seeking online validation. Reason I won’t pity them when knocked.”
@anniepriso: “The toxicity online can turn a perfect union in real life into a pile of red flags. And funny enough, those red flags (that probably don’t even exist) somehow start manifesting after the brutal encounter with social media.”
@igomaz: “The fear of social media bullies is the beginning of wisdom. Filter and take what you feel is good for you.”
@alama1_m: “The biggest mistake anyone would make is to key into social media propagandas…you have a brain use it.”
