Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after days of speculation about his whereabouts. On Thursday, October 6, the APC presidential candidate’s private plane touched down at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

Senator Kashim Shettima, Tinubu’s running mate, and other senior APC officials greeted him at the airport.
Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, former national chairman of the APC, and Hadiza Bala-Usman, former managing director of the Nigeria Ports Authority, were among the officials who greeted the former Lagos state governor at the airport.

On his arrival in Nigeria, Tinubu was accompanied by Ibrahim Masari, the APCV vice presidential placeholder.
As Tinubu stepped off his private plane, chants of “city boy” filled the air as excited supporters of the ruling party welcomed him back into the country after a 12-day absence.

Tinubu’s arrival is expected to kick-start the APC’s presidential campaign activities across the country, with the former governor of Lagos leading from the front.
