Victory Gbakara wins Season 8 of Nigerian Idol and receives the N100 million big prize

  • Victory Gbakara, a rising star in the Nigerian music industry, won the eighth season of Nigerian Idol.

Victory Gbakara has been crowned the winner of the eighth season of Nigerian Idol, the most popular singing competition in the country, following an intense and very contested journey that lasted eight weeks.

Only 29 competitors survived the thousands of eager auditioners, and the top 10 candidates were subsequently selected from that group.

When Victory was named the winner, there was a great deal of happiness and excitement as she accepted the coveted top award.

Victory received a remarkable package in addition to the prestigious title, which included 35 million in cash, a new SUV, a Bigi refrigerator with a year’s worth of Bigi soft drink, an expense-paid trip sponsored by Tecno, a music record deal from a reputable label featuring a video shoot, a year’s worth of WAW detergent, and a fully installed DStv Explora with a year’s worth of Premium subscription.

Nigerian Idol’s freshly proclaimed champion will now join the elite group of winners who have risen since the program’s triumphant return in 2021. One love, go sing for them: Wizkid turns down upcoming Nigerian Artiste trying to impress him 

In other news, Jeydboy posted a Video on his Instagram page showing that he ran into Wizkid in front of a popular hotel in Lagos.

The video showed that the Wizkid was trying to leave the hotel when Jeydboy bumped into him and wanted to take advantage of the opportunity and showcase his talent.

However, Wizkid, in a rush to where he wanted to go, told him to sing for the people in the venue and left.
