In a rant video posted on Instagram, Nigerian comedian, Mr. Jollof, severely attacked music legend, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known by his stage name, Wizkid.
The controversy began when Jollof shaded Wizkid on Instagram after he announced a joint tour with music superstar, Davido.
Wizkid responded by asking Jollof to feed his family first before going off on social media, in an indirect shade on his Insta Story channel.

While responding on Instagram, Mr. Jollof stressed that he has never received help from Wizkid, addressing the singer by his real name.

He expressed his displeasure with the singer’s decision to indirectly insult his family due to what he said.
Mr. Jollof emphasized his support for Wizkid over the years by paying for travel expenses to see him perform at various venues and streaming his music.
He claimed that the one time he asked Wizkid for help, the singer said he would give him N10 million but never followed through.
“Dear Ayo @wizkidayo no carry mouth reach my family you Dey hear ? You Dey help person?,” he said.

The rant video of Mr. Jollof gained a lot of reactions from netizens with many of them attacking him.

Mr. Jollof blasts Wizkid over tour with Davido
Meanwhile, Mr. Jollof previously expressed contrary views about the reunion because he felt it was coming at the wrong time.
According to him, Wizkid should have granted the tour some years back while his fame was still out.
Mr. Jollof also stated that Davido is the lead in the music industry, and Wizkid is trying to use him as a ladder to gain fame.
