The 22-year-old American actress started her movie career at 6 years old and has since appeared in several films and television commercials for big organizations.
Recall that in 2016, She expressed her desire to have a University degree despite her successful acting career. She had said she would want to attend college at a certain point in her life.

Actress Yara Shahidi fulfills college dream
In her words:
“I think no matter what, I know that I want to go to college. I know that I’m going to defer a year and I’m willing to have a more unorthodox college experience, but at a certain point I want to be on a campus.
“I don’t know what that means for me at this moment, but I know that the creator of the show supports me and everybody on the show again supports how adamant I am about my education”.
Amazingly, in 2017, she was recognized by the former USA first lady, Michelle Obama who wrote a recommendation letter to Harvard University, Massachusetts for her.
She posted pictures of the event alongside throwback pictures and photos with her family and friends.
She captioned the post, “Celebrating ALL week!,” as she donned her graduation gown with her mother, Keri Shahid standing proudly beside her.

Meanwhile, a young girl was seen rejoicing by herself with her father, who had just received honors from a university in California, the United States.
The image, which was posted on Twitter, showed the small child expertly managing the camera while her father stood nearby for a celebratory photo.
Following the spread of the nice photos on social media, people praised the young girl for supporting her father during such a momentous time.
