You are not good enough – Incompetent African lady graduates from both Oxford and Harvard

Despite being told “You are not good enough” by her teacher, Vee Kativhu successfully completed her studies. The outstanding and well-liked African-American woman achieved this feat at renowned institutions such as Oxford and Harvard universities in the United States.

In a LinkedIn post, Vee Kativhu, a talented individual from Zimbabwe, Africa, shared her experience of being discouraged by a high school teacher from applying to the University of Oxford, England for her undergraduate studies.

You are not good enough

The teacher expressed doubts about her abilities, stating that she wasn’t “good enough.” Vee Kativhu, however, defied those assumptions and went on to achieve her academic goals.

After five years had passed since her teacher’s discouraging statement, Vee Kativhu proudly announced that she had accomplished remarkable academic achievements. She obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Classical Archaeology and Ancient History from the University of Oxford, United Kingdom, and also earned a Master’s Degree in International Education Policy from Harvard University, Massachusetts, United States.

Meanwhile, a beautiful and intelligent Nigerian lady named Lamide Odanye received a full scholarship to study at Blavatnik School of Government, Oxford University.

The smart young lady had initially intended to study at Harvard University and was ready to do everything she could to get in.

In a vlog she made on YouTube about her scholarship process, she narrates how her mentor advised her to try out other options.
