Auditioned for BBNaija 5 Times Before I was Picked – Phyna

• Phyna has recently shared that she had auditioned for the reality show a total of five times before finally being selected.
  
• During her appearance on MTV Base Sparks alongside Whitemoney, the winner of BBN Season 6, a discussion arose about Phyna supposedly using Whitemoney’s script in the Big Brother House.

In a recent interview on MTV Base Sparks, Josephine Otabor aka Phyna, opened up about her journey to becoming the winner of Big Brother Naija Season 7.

The reality TV star disclosed that she had gone through the audition process a staggering five times before finally being selected.

In response, she revealed her lengthy journey to enter the show, stating that she had been auditioning for Big Brother for four years before finally being chosen in the fifth year.

She admitted that whenever she wasn’t selected, she would refrain from watching the show and experience feelings of envy.

However, during her time in the House, Phyna uttered the phrase “Who deyyyy?” out of frustration, which she frequently used in her daily life.

Surprisingly, one of the housemates accused her of copying Whitemoney, claiming he had used the same phrase in the previous season.

Unaware of this, Phyna expressed her indifference, stating that as long as Whitemoney emerged as the winner, she didn’t mind being associated with his phrase.

Nevertheless, Phyna’s admission highlighted her persistence in pursuing her dreams of participating in Big Brother Naija, ultimately resulting in her victory.
