Dad has had several side chicks since he was 48: Young Nigerian lady discovers cheating Dad on Mothers’ Day

  • A Nigerian lady on Mothers’ Day found out that her Dad has had several side chicks since he was 48 years old.
  • Her father took her out to a bar and they both got tipsy. It led to his telling her the truth.
  • She has decided it was a secret she was not going to tell the rest of her family and said that she was not even angry with her dad.

A Nigerian lady on Thursday came to Social Media to reveal a secret she discovered on Mothers’ Day. It was about how her Dad has had several side chicks over the years. Her story was shared on Twitter by @Wizarab10.

According to her, her brother had taken his wife and their mother out on Mothers’ Day and being left alone with their father, they decided to go to a bar to drink.

They got tipsy and in the process she asked him jokingly about his babe, being motivated to do so when she saw older men with young girls in the bar. He laughed and gave her details about this is babe, who is from a well-to-do family.

The next day, when father and daughter were sober, she brought up the topic again. He gave more details, explaining his reason for having a side-chick.

According to him, he started having side chicks since he was 47/48 and he was currently with his fourth, as he needed new ones whenever they got married.

His reason was not because his wife was not a great woman, but that since they started having children, she moved her focus to their children and never had time to attend to his little needs.

There were times he needed someone to simply rub his back and talk ‘gibberish’ to him, but his wife who was very committed to caring for their family was never available for him.

The lady who told this story ended by saying that she was not angry with her dad but in fact sympathetic toward him. She wondered if it was wrong for her to not feel agitated, like her sister would. She has however decided to keep mute about the matter to the rest of her family.

Many tweeps have responded to the post. Here are some of their reactions:

@gambitking22: It is a Family Matter and I will advise you to keep it in the family. Trust me, a broken Home will hurt everyone… And 90% of Nigerian Fathers are cheating somehow. Not to support your Father’s wrong doing but to tell you peace of mind is always better.

@IkakaOdoba: The story is nice but my question is,if the opposite is the case is it acceptable?

@jeygirlie: use the money being spent on the women outside to hire helps so your mum can do less. help her at home so they could have something to talk about while doing laundry together. insist on holidays with her while you and siblings could stay home. Our culture sha.

@this_Sivana_sef: Women who prioritise their kids over their husbands <<<<<<< It’s a NO NO.. You don’t do that cuz your husband needs to be babies, pampered and loved like them kids. Leave him and he’ll be forced fr

@Drprincessjanet: There is 50% chance that the mother knows. There is no excuse for cheating. Will your dad be happy if your mother is cheating too. The money he was using to philander, if he used it to employ help for your mum, and communicate his needs to your mum. That is a Better option
