Don Jazzy, the acclaimed Nigerian artist and producer, recently disclosed that his musical odyssey was ignited by Daddy Showkey, an iconic musician hailing from Ajegunle, Lagos.

Jazzy divulged that Daddy Showkey, along with Baba Fryo, served as powerful catalysts for his pursuit of music.

Being raised in Ajegunle, Don Jazzy faced financial constraints that prevented him from accessing studio sessions, which led him to embark on his music journey as a church instrumentalist.

During an episode of the Leaderboard podcast hosted by Fisayo Fosudo, he expressed his admiration for Daddy Showkey and his desire to achieve a similar level of success.
