This shuttle, which has a capacity of eight people, is a part of a six-month trial run for Orlando. They hope to draw lessons from this experiment to improve their transit strategies moving forward.

Orlando’s Mayor, Buddy Dyer, shared his thoughts:

“With the expansion of autonomous vehicle shuttles into our neighborhoods, we can converge cutting-edge technology with new mobility solutions to further redefine the way our community moves.”

Beep Inc. is in charge of a driverless bus service. They’re from Orlando and have another bus service like this near the Orlando Airport.
