Retirement fund: 80-year-old man who has no money to pay rent gets over N41.4 million from students

An 80-year-old man has received over 41.4 million naira from students as retirement fund.

The old man, Mr. James, worked as a cleaner in a high school to fend for himself, but his pay wasn’t enough to meet his needs.

He was also worried because he could not afford an additional N184,000 in housing costs after his house rent doubled.

Students raise money for an 80-year-old man 

Luckily for him, two students named Marti and Banner came up with the concept of raising funding for him online. 

According to The Good News Movement, Mr James returned home overjoyed after having raised nearly $90,000 (N41.4 million) for him.
