The scholarship only lasted 6 months – Happie Boys reveal they dropped out of school in Cyprus

  • Former security guards, Happie Boys who were sponsored to study in Cyprus reveal that they are currently struggling financially.

Happie Boys, former security guards who were sponsored by a good samaritan to study abroad have shared their financial struggles on the internet.

Taking to their Instagram page, the young men shared how they had to drop out of school when they became financially unstable.

Recall that, these men came to the limelight when they were sacked from work where they used to work as security guards when they were caught dancing by their boss.

A few days later, they were sponsored to study in Cyprus with their manager by Apostle Chinyere Chibuzor of Omega Power Ministries (OPM).

However, Happie Boys surprised many with their revelations, according to them, they had to drop out of school because Apostle Chinyere refused to give them money as he had promised and only sponsored them for six months.

They added that as it is now, things were really difficult for them and they are barely standing strong, the Happie boys also revealed that they sent Apostle Chinyere several messages to help their situation, but he told them he is not as financially buoyant as he was before.

“We want to use this medium to thank each and everyone of you out there more especially my fans, family & @papa.opm who helped us fly abroad to school which we are so grateful!! After GOD used @gossipmilltv to show the world our inbuilt talent from GOD & we’re forever grateful to GOD for looking after us, sustaining and providing for us for the past 8 months which the scholarship lasted for only 6 months and us who didn’t come from rich homes dropped out from school because is very hard for anyone to get a job here in Cyprus! Ask @ogenecyprus .. Living in the country became so expensive but GOD in heaven is seeing his children through!! “Let Love Lead”🙏🏻🥀 Who no go no know!”

OPM pastor shares their transformation photos, 1 year after sending them abroad

Meanwhile, a popular clergyman and humanitarian, Apostle Chineyere Chibuzor, has shared transformation photos of the viral dancing security guards. This is coming one year after relocating them abroad.

Recall that the facility where the two Chicken Republic security guards worked fired them last year. This was after a video of them dancing while performing their duties went viral, which was deemed unprofessional.

This incident, which could have been a depressing experience for the guards, turned into a breakthrough as many Nigerians began offering them help.
