A man has taken to the social space to share the importance of living together before a couple ties the knot.
In a series of Tweets, the man with the username @jon_d_doe, listed why it was important for a couple to cohabit before marriage.
According to him, they were nasty habits that some people have and this could only be found out before marriage if one lives together.
He stressed that in order not to be shocked by some of the attitudes or actions of their spouses after they tie the knot, they need to live together for ample time.

However, a man, @iamDonaldOnuoha, was not comfortable with his words and stated that it was not scripted in the bible for a man and woman to live together before marriage.
“Dear Agba, God is the author of marriage. It is His idea. It is God that said it is not good for man to be alone; then He gave Eve to Adam. The Bible did not record that Adam cohabited with Eve before this happened. You can know what you can tolerate without cohabiting,” he said.
Another lady, @Cordialpops, however, agreed with his words when she shared how she visited a man who was lazy and do not care about his personal hygiene.
“Omo. One guy I visited doesn’t flush the toilet, and he showed me shege after I made excuses for him. Don’t ignore any personal hygiene problem u can’t handle, Yea. Lazy people are dirty people,” she said.

Meanwhile, the General Overseer of Winners Chapel International, David Oyedepo’s wife, Pastor Faith Abiola Oyedepo, has spoken against cohabiting couples.
The senior pastor of Faith Tabernacle Cannanland, Ota, Nigeria took to social media to state that no couple should live together without doing the necessary marriage rites.
According to her, some couples have been living together for years and have even been blessed with children without a proper marriage.
