- Fatima made history many years back as the first female to get a perfect score in Mathematics in a Nigerian university.
- Following this she earned 2 Masters degrees in mathematics and did exceptionally well.

A Nigerian lady has received praise from fellow Nigerians after her exceptional achievements reached the internet.
The young woman identified as Fatima Abdulwaheed Akinola made history when she became the first-ever female to obtain a perfect grade at the Usmanu Danfodiyo University in mathematics.
Following this, she got admission into a university in the US, Marshall University where she pursued her Masters of Arts degree in mathematics.

She not only got admitted but after one year graduated with a perfect score of 4.0/4.0 earning her the title, mathematics genius.
Shortly after her degree, she decided to study at the University of Florida where she earned her Masters of Science degree in mathematics.
“And so it begins! I came into the US two years ago, with a goal!!! Further my education as far as I could. Started with a masters degree and excelled at it! Today, I begin the next journey in my academic sojourn! I can only hope that it goes great as well,” the mathematics genius said on LinkedIn.
Just recently a Twitter user posted her picture to praise her for her achievement as it was revealed that she is currently pursuing her Ph.D degree and works as a lecturer in the US.
The young woman’s story has garnered praise from social media users who also admitted that there were inspired.

Shamaria Engram, who holds two Master’s degrees in Computer science and Computer Engineering earned her Ph.D. at a time the world was in a pandemic.
She fought hard to break the 40-year-old record of the institution. One which resulted in her becoming the first black woman to graduate with a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering.
