Famous Nigerian gospel singer, Mercy Chinwo, has won the Best International Act at the 2023 Premier Gospel Awards in the United Kingdom.

Expressing her elation, Mercy humbly stated, “I am incredibly grateful and honoured to receive this prestigious award.

I give thanks to God for His grace and to my fans, friends, and family who have supported me throughout this journey.

This recognition is not just for me; it is a testament to the belief in the profound impact of music on touching hearts and transforming lives.”

Mercy Chinwo took to her Instagram page to share her gratitude, posting a photo of the award and expressing her thanks to the Premier Gospel Awards, as well as everyone who cast their votes.

The Premier Gospel Awards also acknowledged the achievements of other deserving artists.

Limoblaze was recognized as the Best Male Vocalist, Annatoria as the Best Female Vocalist, and Jireh for Best Song with Limoblaze.

Manor Collective received the Best Group award, The Spirituals were honoured as the Choir of the Year, and Tofunmi Adorna was named Best Newcomer.

In addition to Mercy Chinwo’s triumph as Best International Act, Triple O’s album “Everything Left Unsaid” was acclaimed as the Best Album, while Guvna B’s “Bridgeland Road” secured the prestigious Best Video accolade.
