A video showing the renovation of an old house into a cake studio posted online by a Nigerian baker (@cakesbysharawow) created a buzz on the internet.
The baker claimed that she had been searching for a space for a while and was glad to find a place for her business.
She immediately started working on it after realizing she could renovate it to her preferences.

She hired tilers and changed the old doors
She put a lot of money into the interior design of the space to make it suitable for her business in the video she uploaded on her TikTok.
The baker hired tilers to remove the old tiles from the house and replace her own. She even changed the old doors.
According to her, the renovation started months after she paid the rent.

Landlady breaks tenant’s heart by asking her to vacate after renovation
In another story, a Nigerian woman lamented because her landlady asked her to vacate a shop after spending money and time on renovation.
Sadly, after spending a substantial amount of time giving the apartment a facelift, the landlady’s legal representative gave her a quit notice, mandating her to vacate the property by February 28, 2023.
According to the quit notice, it was stated that forceful legal actions would be taken against her if she did not comply.
