A Nigerian lady who observed her rag day show a part of how the event went in a viral TikTok video.
In the short clip, the young Lady who is a university student was captured dancing in the market with an Ankara top and wrapper.
Rag day in Nigeria is observed by students especially newly admitted ones as they adorn themselves in rags or dresses in a less sensible manner, then storm the streets in order to raise funds for the less privileged.

Well, in a bid to get her own out of the way, the young lady, Glory Francis danced in the market with the market women welcoming her with open hands.
The university student was seen to have held a yam in her hands and was also given vegetables, she confessed that her rag day was really memorable and enjoyable for her because she received a lot of things from the market women.
“Nothing I no collect for this Rag Day, It was fun with those market women I swear, I think I should start something with them,” she said.
