The Yahoo scammer initiated contact with Chad, expressing a desire to split the profits from a purported business deal.

He requested Chad to provide his bank account information so that he could receive a portion of the N1.5 million supposedly associated with this deal.

In addition, the scammer sent Chad a few pictures of a woman and claimed that they had previously met at a venue known as Club 9.

Despite being aware of the scammer’s true intentions, Chad decided to play along. He noted that the country code in the scammer’s phone number was +234 and this raised suspicions about the person’s true motives.

Having in mind that the code corresponded to Nigeria’s dialing code, it suggested that the scammer did not have pure intentions.
