When hiring a babysitter, a mother would only consider the best candidates but definitely not a nanny with a Masters degree.
To maximise the likelihood of obtaining a babysitter, Tammy placed the job listing with the necessary requirements.
The American mom identified her four gorgeous children, who ranged in age from two to seven, in the advertisement.
“I need someone to watch my four kids (ages 2,3,5 and 7) from noon to 6pm Monday to Friday and (occasional weekends),” part of the advert read.
The requirements the babysitter had to satisfy before being hired were listed below the text.
They included a fantastic cook and an avid cleaner who were both over 25 and had at least a masters degree in education.
Nanny with a Masters degree
“No social media accounts (I don’t need my kids seeing that), no drinking, no smoking, not even vaping and no tattoos or piercings,” read the advert.
In addition, the prospective employee was asked to provide five professional references, and a background investigation and drug test would be carried out.
“This job pays N155,000 a week. One must have own transportation to and from while running all my errands. Please call Tammy if interested,” the advert concluded.
Social media users attacked Tammy for the stringent standards and lambasted the advertisement for a nanny with a Masters degree.
“I wouldn’t do that for N4,600 a day. You’ll never find a single human that falls under those qualifications. Even a nun wouldn’t have five professional references or agree to a drug test,” one babysitter said.
“Does Tammy have a Master’s degree – or is she just pulling this out of thin air?” another asked.

She shared her achievement of earning the degree on Instagram, stating that she did not only graduate she also secured a full time Job.
