Seplat Scholarship for Secondary School Students
Three secondary schools in the states of Delta and Edo recently received project support from Seplat Energy Plc worth ₦18.675 million. The energy business also gave nine students from the three secondary schools a total of ₦675,000 in scholarships.
In the firm’s 2022 pearl quiz and the 11th edition, held on Friday in Benin City, the three secondary schools came out on top, with the first and second runner-up spots going to the other schools.
The three institutions are the University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS), Benin City; Deeper Life High School, Delta State; and Green Park Academy, Benin City.
In the end, Green Park defeated Deeper Life High School by earning 80 points and taking home the ₦10 million grand prize. Whereas the University of Benin Demonstration Secondary School (UDSS) came in third, Deeper Life High School won ₦5 million.
The Deeper Life High School students received ₦75,000 apiece, the three participating students from UDDS received ₦50,000 each, and the three participating students from Green Park Academy received scholarship awards of ₦100,000.

The Seplat Energy JV scholarship application period is from August 26 to September 9, 2023. The application for the Seplat Energy JV scholarship for 2022–2023 is now available.
