Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage, an award-winning artist, recently revealed her nerves during her performance at the historic coronation of King Charles III, the British monarch.
She created history as the first Nigerian artist to grace a British royal event, enthralling attendees at the coronation concert and Big Lunch in March.
In an appearance on the Good Morning Britain TV show, Tiwa Savage admitted feeling nervous in the initial moments of her performance at Windsor Castle.
However, she described the experience as beautiful and expressed her gratitude for the opportunity to represent the Commonwealth on such a prestigious stage.
Once she began singing, she focused on being swept away by the crowd’s energy, which helped her overcome her nervousness.
During the interview, Tiwa Savage also praised the British Queen Consort, Camilla, describing her as “very lovely.”
