Visa Application: UAE bans Nigeria

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) Immigration authorities have reportedly banned Nigerian visa applications into the country.

According to reports, the country issued a notice to UAE’s trade partners and travel agencies in Nigeria on Friday, October 21.

Although the visa ban is unknown, the UAE Immigration authorities placed all applications on hold until issues between its government and the Nigerian government are settled.

Kindly advise your clients to resubmit C2=A0 applications when the issue is resolved between both governments.

UAE Immigration Authorities on Visa Apllication

Battabox sources reported that Wakanow confirmed the information on the ban.

The source said, “It is true; it was issued yesterday. The Dubai immigration did not state when the ban would be lifted, but for now, everything is on hold.”

Speaking on the visa application, another source from Air Peace stated that those with valid visas are allowed to fly to Dubai.

The source said further changes regarding the current situation would be communicated duly.
