The best friend of Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar has added her voice to the ongoing saga between her friend and Apostle Suleman.
Halima’s bestie, identified as Benita, revealed that both she and the actress believed Apostle Suleman was a businessman into oil and gas.
She said they had no inclination that he was a pastor, adding that her friend aborted three pregnancies for the general overseer of Omega Fire Ministries (OFM) international.

According to her, after the third pregnancy was aborted, the actress’s health worsened, and she started bleeding badly.
She tattooed his name
She said when the bleeding persisted, Apostle Johnson Suleman dumped her friend and moved on.
During an interview with blogger, Temiola Sobola, she added that Halima even had a tattoo of Suleman’s name and only removed it after he broke her heart.
Benita said things got so bad that the actress had to move about with extra sanitary pads so she would not get stained.
She said, “Halima and I are best friends and I knew when she and Apostle Suleman were dating. We never knew he was a pastor, we thought he was into oil and gas. Halima aborted 3 pregnancies for him. After the third pregnancy, she started bleeding everyday.
I used to follow her to her shows and events. We were always moving around with extra tampons to prevent her from getting stained. We don’t know if the bleeding was as a result of the ab*rtion, maybe her womb has been tampered with but when Suleman saw that her bleeding didn’t stop, he dumped her.
I wanted to get a tattoo one day and she opted to follow me. That was the day she removed the tattoo of Suleman’s name she had on her hand, then I knew my friend has been heartbroken.”

Meanwhile, Apostle Suleman officially filed a lawsuit against Halima Abubakar for all the allegations she levelled against him.
The man of God brought Abubakar before Justice through his legal advisors, Ephesus Lex Attorneys & Solicitors. J. Enobie Obanor of the Federal Capital Territory’s High Court in the Abuja Judicial Division.
According to Premium Times, Suleman filed the lawsuit against her in October 2022 for alleged defamation, and the court case will begin on March 25th.
