The update followed his payment of the bride price of his lover, Chioma and his fulfilling traditional rites.
Recall that he made the full payment on Thursday, December 5, 2022 at Chioma’s family home in Nkwerre Local government area of Imo State.

Shortly after the conclusion of the marital rites, Wikipedia updates his page to include:
‘Davido married Chioma Rowland on November 6, 2022.’
Also, Chioma Rowland has been named as his spouse in his personal profile.
For many netizens, this is a major cause for celebration following the death of their three-year old son, Ifeanyi in November 2022.
