A 51-year-old woman desperately searching for love has been scammed of her N2.2m.
The South African woman identified as Sthembile Duma did not only get her heart broken but also ruined her finances.
According to the sad story shared on Twitter by @VehicleTrackerz, the woman signed up on popular dating site, Badoo, in an attempt to find love.

She met a Kenyan man she thought was in love with her on the dating site. Instead, he instructed her to quit her job and also succeeded in duping her of her pension payout.
She was left homeless
Her Kenyan online boyfriend defrauded her of her entire pension payments of R420,000 (N2.2m), leaving her homeless and without any source of livelihood.
However, many netizens who reacted to the story didn’t show sympathy for the 51-year-old. Instead, they said she was desperate for love, which was why her online boyfriend scammed her.
Others narrated how several women have also fallen prey to scammers in the name of love; they urged women to be careful when dealing with men online.

Yahoo Boy Uses Iheme Osita’s Picture to Scam Oyinbo
Meanwhile, a Nigerian man narrated how yahoo boys use Nollywood actor, Iheme Osita’s picture to scam unsuspecting white clients.
@Alhajinuel shared screenshots of the message a yahoo boy sent a white client about “his son,” who was ill and needed treatment urgently.
The yahoo boy used a picture of Paw Paw (his son) lying down on a hospital bed with his neck in POP bandages. He requested $3,000 for treatment.
