On Friday afternoon, January 5, a group of protesting women set fire to the residence of Michal Monday Adanchi, the district head of Bokkos town in the Bokkos local government area of the state.
According to information from Daily Trust, a local source, it was revealed that the incident occurred around 12:30 am.
Soldiers Calm Protest Down in Plateau
Battabox found out that soldiers came to the area and made the protesting women go away. Then, DSP Alabo Alfred, who speaks for the state police, said he would call the DPO of the area for more news.
This happened after the state police confirmed on Thursday, January 4, that they arrested eight people connected to recent attacks in Bokkos and Barikin Ladi LGAs.
