On Friday afternoon, January 5, a group of protesting women set fire to the residence of Michal Monday Adanchi, the district head of Bokkos town in the Bokkos local government area of the state.

According to information from Daily Trust, a local source, it was revealed that the incident occurred around 12:30 am.

This happened after the state police confirmed on Thursday, January 4, that they arrested eight people connected to recent attacks in Bokkos and Barikin Ladi LGAs.
