In a recent interview, a woman from Ibadan tearfully shared her harrowing experience of enduring ongoing domestic abuse from her husband, which she described as turning her into a punching bag.
In the video shared, the woman revealed that the domestic abuse started soon after they got married and has continued without respite. Her husband relentlessly subjected her to physical assaults since the beginning of their marriage.
The woman stated that numerous individuals have pleaded with her husband on her behalf to cease the abuse, but he responded by warning them that things would escalate if they continued to intervene.

The situation has left the woman in a state of distress and vulnerability
According to her, she reached out to his family members in an attempt to address the issue, unfortunately their response was disheartening as they expressed exhaustion from repeatedly begging him to change his ways.
She went further to recall a moment at her shop with her husband, she unintentionally farted, which triggered an extreme anger in him.
He expressed his anger threatening to punish her for it. Consequently, he sent her and their children away from the house.
After being forced to leave, she found herself in a challenging situation with no job to support her family. As a result, she has been struggling to make ends meet by doing menial jobs in order to provide for her children since the incident occurred. The whole situation has left her in a difficult and vulnerable position.
The woman’s sad story has stirred emotions among netizens as she shared the distressing experiences she endured due to her husband’s actions. These experiences resonated with many, evoking sympathy and concern for the hardships she has faced in her marriage.
