Ayo Animashaun has debunked speculations that he stated Wizkid submitted his latest album, ‘More Love, Less Ego’, for the 16th Headies Awards nominations but got declined.
In response to a viral screenshot of an alleged Instastory post attributed to Animashaun, where it was claimed that Wizkid’s album was submitted but declined, the CEO clarified the situation on his verified Instagram page.
He labelled the post as “malicious” and “fake,” emphasizing that it was a photoshopped fabrication.

The absence of Wizkid’s name from the nominees’ list caused a stir on social media, with fans expressing their surprise and disappointment.
However, Animashaun’s denial puts an end to the speculation and confirms that the viral post was a false representation of his views.
