Hilda Baci, the renowned chef who gained massive popularity after she cooked for over 100 hours has addressed news of her charging N25,00 for a meet and greet in Abuja.
It is worth noting that, news of her charging the sum from her fans in order to have a meet and greet with them reached the internet on Friday.
Daniel Regha, a controversial Twitter influencer expressed his disappointment amongst many other social media users over Hilda Baci charging N25,000 for seeing her.

“Hilda Baci is nothing without Nigerians. If the masses didn’t support & get her trending, many celebs won’t show-up to fake hype her Cookathon. It’s the sad but honest truth. Her Meet and greet should be free, as a way to show appreciation. Charging N25k (if true) is ridiculous,” he said.
However, after many hours of the news trending on the microblogging platform, the chef responded by debunking the claims
According to her, she was not hosting any meet and greet, she added that even if she was she wouldn’t ask anyone to pay for such.
“Hi everyone, this is to inform everyone that I’m not doing any meet and greet in Abuja. I would also never ask anyone to pay for such. Thanks,” she said.

Reason for not receiving Guinness world record certificate – Hilda Baci
Meanwhile, Chef Hilda Baci addressed the reason behind the delay in the Guinness World Records certification process, through a video she shared.
In her post, Hilda explained that the “evidence footage” from her extensive cooking marathon is still in the process of being uploaded for Guinness World Records certification.
She provided an update on the progress of uploading the footage, which captured her four-day cooking marathon, onto the Guinness World Records portal.
