How to Register
To be part of the fantasy premier league for the first time, you must register on the fantasy premier league website. Head over to the website fantasy.premierleague.com to register your account.
Afterward, you enter an email address, set a password, and confirm your email address. Once you set up your account, select a team name, and you are almost as good as done.

How points are awarded
Points are given for assists, goals, saves, and clean sheets. Players can also earn additional points on fantasy as a reward for an excellent performance during a match day.
The points for your team will be scored by your starting eleven for the game week or match round.
If a player in your lineup does not feature for the matchday, the points scored by the first player on your bench will be added automatically.
The same happens if two or three players from your lineup do not feature. Extra points can be earned by choosing a captain from your matchday lineup. The points are doubled for the captain for that game week.

How to select a squad
Managers in FPL are presented with an initial budget of around 100 million pounds to spend on a team of 15 players.
Each player has been given prices. The squad consists of two goalkeepers, five defenders, five midfielders, and three forward-line players.
To choose a player for your squad, you can select his club on the drop-down filter. You then get to see the list of the club’s players, arranged according to their position on the field.
A click on the player adds hi to your squad. Subsequently, you can enter the player’s surname into the search box to find them. A maximum of three players can be selected from any team in the premier league.

Deadline for Transfers
There are 38 rounds of fixtures or game weeks in every season. The deadline is up until 90 minutes before the kickoff of the first match.
In the interest of not handing a player a favorable advantage over the other player, each manager can only enter one team.
Managing your team
As a manager in the FPL, you must choose a lineup from your 15-man squad before the start of each game week. Any formation is allowed as long as a goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders, and forwards are included in the lineup.
You can tweak your formation by substituting a starter with a player from the bench. The players in the starting eleven will score all your points for the week.
But if any player in the lineup does not feature for the matchday, they will be substituted automatically. So this means that your substitutes have to be in order.
How to make Transfers
After choosing your squad for your Fantasy Premier League, players can be bought or sold in the transfer market.
You can make unlimited transfers with zero cost but only before the deadline. Once you have passed the new season’s deadline, you will be given one free transfer for every game week.
The free transfer will allow you to sign a player to substitute with a player from your 15-man squad, as long as the change is within your budget.
Additional transfers in a game week will cost you four points each for every one of the transfers.
Transfer carryovers
If you do not use your free transfer as a manager, you can carry it over to the next game week and have two free transfers.
However, you cannot build up more than two free transfers at any point of the game weeks.
Player prices do not change before the season begins but can change during the season if the player’s selection rises a lot each game week.
Profits of players
The prices you see on the transfer page are the selling price for the players. The player’s current purchase may be less than the selling price.
For example, you a player is bought for 6.0 million pounds, and you sell him for 6.4 million, your selling price should be 6.2 million.
How to Score Points
There are many ways your players can score points for each game week. These include saves, goals, assists, clean sheets, and how well they perform with their team in real life.
If a player plays up to 60 minutes, that is 1 point, more than 60 minutes gives 2 points. If a goalkeeper or defenders scores, that is 6 points but for a midfielder, it is 5 points.
Leagues and cups
As a new manager, you will be entered into the following leagues worldwide:
- League for managers from your country
- An overall league that has all the teams registered
- A league for managers beginning the same game week
- League for the supporters of your premier league team
There are also private leagues where you can compete against your friends. You or any one of your friends can just create a league and send the code out to anyone that is interested in joining the league.
This will allow you to compete against each other. The maximum number of private leagues you can compete in is 25, and there are no limits to the number of teams that can participate in a single league.
